New Week ... New Polish

Hey! I'm posting this a little late but I did my nails last friday and used Essie Sand Tropez which is 1 of the 3 colors I bought last week (Essie's Bobbing for Baubles, Sand Tropez, and Main Squeeze). At 1st I wasn't sure if I liked the color but now that it's been on for almost a week (and hasn't chipped yet!!) I'm starting to like it more and more each day. I don't really love the consistency of it though, it's very thick and is difficult to apply. I love Essie polishes but lately I've been finding that alot of their polishes I've been buying have been really thick so I don't know if they changed the formula or it's just the way they are stored in the places I buy them. Anyway ... here are the pics

I used Orly's Rubberized Base Coat, Essie Sand Tropez, and Essie Good to Go top coat.

Essie Carry On ...

I know I wrote the other day that I got Essie Carry On on my feet and that I thought it was like Essie Wicked meets OPI Lincoln Park After Dark well I still think that BUT the other day I was in the sun and realized in bright light it's very purple - almost like a deep eggplant. Anyway ... I just wanted to update you guys on that :)

Pics of Essie Bobbing for Baubles and Orly Rubberized Base Coat

Hey! So I realized I never posted pics of what Essie Bobbing for Baubles looked like in the bottle in case anyone was interested

Also, heres a pic of what Orly's Rubberized Base Coat bottle looks like

Both of them were about $8 each, I purchased Bobbing for Baubles at Essentials but as the Winter collection starts becoming more available hopefully it'll be easier to find, also my nail salon sells they're polishes so if you can't find it anywhere maybe your nail salon will have it and sell it to you too. I don't remember exactly where I purchased the base coat but I'm pretty sure it was at a Harmon Beauty Store

Essie Bobbing for Baubles

Hey guys!!! I got a mani + pedi about 2 weeks ago or so and I got Essie's Carry On (fall 2011 collection) on my toes and Essie's Bobbing for Baubles (winter 2011 collection) on my hands. I liked Carry On but not enough to buy it - it was really dark almost like OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark meets Essie's Wicked (I already have both of these) BUT I LOVE Bobbing for Baubles!!!! it looks navy in some light but in others it looks like a dark sea blue. I searched everywhere to buy it + it was really hard for me to find but I finally found it at Essentials in my mall (I picked up 2 other colors too but I'll post separately about them).

Essie's Bobbing for Baubles

The polish lasted for about 4 days before it started chipping. When I reapplied it I decided to use OPI's Servin' Up Sparkle on my ring fingers which came out nice but I think I still like them plain.

Essie's Bobbing for Baubles + OPI's Servin' Up Sparkle on ring fingers

For my base coat I used Orly's Rubberized Basecoat + for my top coat I used Essie's Good to Go (I LOVE this it makes my nails dry so quick!)
